Low Voltage transformer for use with 12V halogen lamps such as Par 16 Birdie's.

• Pre-wired 12v, dimmable electrical transformers.
• Full VDE certification for low voltage and EMC.
• Fitted with soft start, which prolongs the life of the lamp
• Short-circuit and overload protection, the transformer will shut off automatically in the case of short circuit or overload, after removing the cause of the short circuit or overload the transformer will start to supply the load again.
• In the event of over temperature the transformer will cut the load by means of a thermal fuse.

• CE marked, VDE Approved.
• Input Mains: 220 to 240VAC 50Hz

• Loading must be in the range of 75 to 200 Watts  (200VA max)

• Additional notes when installing.

  • The maximum distance between the transformer and the 12 volt lamp must not exceed two metres.
  • The transformer must not be positioned closer than 200mm to the lamp.
  • The transformer must not be positioned near central heating pipes or covered with insulation.
  • All the transformers may be installed with suitable dimming equipment.
  • One 200 watt transformer will operate 4 x 50 watt 12 volt halogen lamps. 
  • Use the same lengths of cable between each lamp and the transformer - so voltage drops are equal..
  • The lamps should be wired in parallel.
