Furman Series II Power conditioners, Furman have developed ‘SMP+’, an advance protection system that provides five modes of protection and filtering. By shunting and dissipating surge energy in a series of rugged components and by filtering out any mains noise without shunting it to ground, SMP+ gives comprehensive cover against all mains bourn disturbances. Unlike conventional conditioners, SMP+ is designed not to ‘blow’ under extreme conditions, and so provides service free, constant shielding against even extreme surges. Some terms frequently used in our industry:
