Nexo Alpha S2 Sub-Bass, The Alpha S2 is an advanced high power Sub-Bass module that can be stacked or flown together in arrays with Alpha M3, M8 and B1 and AlphaE Series cabinets. The S2 uses two NEXO specified high power 18” long excursion LF drivers in a high efficiency resonator design combined with low speed port geometry to deliver low distortion, coherent output from 32Hz to 64Hz. The S2 provides optional VLF extension of the frequency response of AlphaE Series and Alpha Systems to 32Hz.

The Alpha System is a range of advanced technology modular, compact, high power loudspeaker modules tailored for a wide range of touring and installed sound reinforcement applications, from clubs and theatres to large scale live events.

Like all NEXO products, Alpha System components are designed to work with advanced electronic processors, guaranteeing consistent performance and reliability of the highest standard.

System Operation

• Electronic Controller The Alpha S2 must be used with a NEXO NX242 Digital TDcontroller.
• Use without a properly connected Controller will result in poor sound quality and may damage the components.
• Sub-Bass The Alpha S2 provides optional VLF extension for Alpha B1/M3/M8 and AlphaE
• Series systems. Active operation of the S2 is included in NX242 control parameters.
