The tubes are easy to mount and boast a life span of up to 100,000 hours. They are eco-friendly and consume very little power (just 16.8 watts per meter). Control signals and power for the LED Tube System come from the Moodtube Controller, connection is made by way of molded integral Male/Female sockets Mood Tube Controllers function in either 'stand-alone' mode, or as DMX mode. Each controller can drive up to 1000 linked Moodtubes per each of its 2 signal output channels, for a maximum total 1000 tubes per controller. Power to the tubes is supplied by the controller, for the initial 4 tubes of a linked run. To addition tubes you will require a Mood tube Booster for ever additional 8 Tubes added.
