Denon DN-C635 Professional CD Player, The Denon DN-C635 is a professional CD player housed in a single 2RU rack-mount chassis. It is the successor to the popular DN-C630 and includes many new feature enhancements for professional applications such as CD-RW playback, shock memory and CD text support. Auto Cue to music and instant start insures there are no blank spots at the beginning of the track to be played. A new D-Sub 9 pin port can be configured for either RS-232C or RS-422A communication. An Infra-red sensor has been added behind the front panel for wireless control.

Designed for use in a wide range of applications the DN-C635 will satisfy the needs of demanding installations. Radio station, pre-production, post production, studio and theater are just some of the examples where the DN-C635's features will provide solid performance when quality sound is required. For background music applications, the DN-C635 supports MP3 decoding for hours of music playback.

Functions on this CD player include a variable pitch of ±12% (approximately 2 octaves) and a Single/Continuous Playback mode. The 1x/10x wrap-around track select knob allows for quick track access. A digital SPDIF port is located on the back panel for connecting to digital systems along with sync and cascade connectors for use with multiple DN-C635 units or the DN-780R tape recorder. Digital servo adjustment has been automated so that the optimum setting is always obtained for the type of CD being played, compensating for any changes occurring in the pickup over years of use.
