Ryger FL-P1 DMX LED Lighting Controller, The FL-P1 is an easy to use DMX controller for RGB LED lighting. Virtually no DMX knowledge is required by the user. Designed for the static type of fixture ie: Parcans, Battens and Panels etc. Perfect for DJ’s, Bands and fixed installation. NO COMPLICATED PROGRAMMING REQUIRED! The FLP1 controls the Red, Green & Blue channels of LED lighting fixtures.
The programming of the FL-P1 has already been pre-set for the user. All you need to do is select from our list which profile group your fixtures belong to. Fixtures can be of different type and manufacture but they all must be listed within the same profile group. Then simply set the starting address or dip switches as explained in the user manual.
8 fixtures can be controlled individually by this unit creating a superb lightshow, sequencing and chasing in an organised manner rather than being left to their own uncontrolled stand-alone features. More fixtures can be added by pairing them up i.e: if you have 16 parcans you will have 2 lamps illuminating at the same time on an 8 channel chase.

Which fixtures are compatible with the Ryger FL-P1?...
This page lists the Profile Groups for many fixtures and what DMX mode those fixtures will operate successfully with. Most lighting battens and panels operate in their 3 or 4 channel configuration (see their individual user manual for settings). Normally this will make them operate as a single colour - like an LED parcan. If your fixture is not listed, look at the DMX channels that a particular Profile Group operates and identify these settings in your fixtures user manual - also email your fixture details to Ryger and we will add your fixture to a profile group.
Many Parcans need DIP SWITCH 10 set to ON to receive DMX signals. Any fixtures within the same profile group will operate together - so you can mix and match. But only from within the same group - fixtures from another group may not function correctly if connected to this controller. Exceptions to this rule are fixtures using CH1, 2, 3 for RGB but NO other channels for modes and dimming (mainly profile D1 fixtures) - these can usually operate correctly within any other profile using 1, 2, 3, for RGB that also list Dimmers and Modes as active because they will ignore the extra channels being used. AMBER & WHITE fixtures will only operate in RGB colours.

If your fixture is not listed in any of the profiles - email us with your user manual information and we will identify your profile group or create a new profile group for the controller. We welcome any user info on other LED fixtures that may operate with the FL-P1So if yours is not listed but you have found a correct profile please let us know.
TIP
One way of locating a profile if you don’t know it is to set your fixture into it’s 3channel mode (if this is required). Set the first fixture address position to 1 ON. (activate dip 10 if this is required for DMX operation). Then start the FL-P1 selecting profile ‘d0’Next go into ‘FA’ mode on the controller and see if the RGB & Dimmer sliders function as expected. If not - restart the controller selecting profile ‘d1’ and repeat the above procedure as often as needed working through the profiles, repeat as required until your fixture operates correctly. This number is then your profile.
