ETCLIP - Portable Induction Loop Amplifier, The Easy T ETCLIP Portable loop has been designed to help customer service advisors comply with the DDA, and is built into a stylish clipboard housing.
The attractive lightweight case has been designed to be carried by customer service representatives or any staff members coming into contact with hearing impaired customers. The mic is on the top surface and the loop amplifier covers an area of up to 1.5m around the case.
The Top face is designed as a hard writing surface, and the clip is designed for multi disability customers (arthritis, poor vision). The front face is clearly signed in line with RNIB guidelines with the IEC symbol for induction loop amplifiers to inform customers the facility is available.
All the audio processing circuitry is fully automatic, and uses a dynamics processor to alter the microphone gain correcting for poor microphone technique, and dynamic noise control to eliminate hiss. A battery low light is provided on the rear, and the unit can be operated whilst charging. The high capacity battery allows for up to 8 hours operation from a single charge.
