The NovaStar VX400 Pro Display Controller is the successor to the VX400 and provides an all-in-one solution for driving small to medium-sized LED screen installations. It can drive up to 2,600,000 pixels in total, with a width of up to 10,240 pixels or a height of up to 8,192 pixels, making it ideal for ultra-wide and ultra-high LED screen applications.
The VX400 Pro offers a wide variety of video inputs and it allows seamless switching between multiple input sources. It supports six layers, has powerful front-end processing with colour correction, and eliminates the need for an external scaler. An internal media player allows you to play content from a USB device without the need for additional external hardware.
In addition to the 4 built-in outputs, two fibre-optic output ports are available to cover distances beyond the 100 metre Ethernet cable limit. When using the fibre optic outputs, an additional optical converter unit is required to drive your LED screens. This can either be one of the separately available Novastar CVT10-M or CVT10-S fibre converters, or a second VX400 Pro in fibre converter mode. A light sensor input is available for direct connection of a light sensor, allowing for automatic brightness control.
Screen configuration can be done via the front panel, NovaLCT, Unico web page and VICP app. The stylish 1U enclosure fits neatly into a 19-inch rack or case, making it ideal for rental companies and fixed installations.
