The NovaStar ET2S-G Media Server is designed for small to medium rental or fixed installation applications. Offering 8K x 2K output capacity, the ET2S-G supports up to 1x DP 1.2 and 2x HDMI 2.0 mosaic outputs to easily drive creative mosaic displays on irregular screens. Splitting, merging and rotating are supported, and a single output can be split into up to 64 partitions, allowing for quick mapping settings and ultra-wide screen configurations. Up to 8 layers and 1 audio stream can be played back simultaneously.
The included Kompass FX2 software ensures seamless, ultra-clear and smooth video playback with support for common video formats including H.264, H.265, MPEG-4/2, WMV and VP9. Four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports provide fast external storage and mouse/keyboard connectivity. The software offers user-friendly media library management and supports PowerPoint files, NDI sources, website sources, streaming media and text sources. Its intuitive and user-friendly interface makes it easy to control content playback. NovaStar's Visual Intelligent Control Platform (VICP) allows remote playback control as well.
