New to the DN-V110 is the 108MHz/12-bit video DAC with full 1080p video upscaling, providing for full HD specification output of standard definition DVD signals, with a resultant significant increase in picture quality when connected to HD Ready and Full HD displays. Upscaling is performed to 1080p, 1080i or 720p. Video connectivity is improved with the introduction of HDMI connectivity to HD specified displays, alongside RGB Scart, S-video, composite or component video outputs; the latter offering progressive scan. NTSC / PAL conversion is also included, as is ‘squeeze mode’ for displaying 4:3 picture ratio signals via HDMI. Discreet video circuitry and separate analogue and digital circuit boards ensure interference-free signal paths for video and audio.
