JTS UDA-49AP Active/Passive UHF Directional Antenna
The JTS UDA-49AP is a versatile active/passive UHF directional antenna designed to enhance signal reception while reducing interference from unwanted RF signals. Operating within a 470-960 MHz frequency band, it offers 10 dB of antenna gain and features an adjustable booster gain of +15 dB, +5 dB, or -5 dB in active mode. In passive mode, it functions with 1 dB attenuation (bypass mode). The antenna is lightweight, weighing 400g, and has an effective working angle of 100 degrees for optimal signal capture. It is powered by a 12V / 65mA supply, ensuring efficient performance in various wireless system applications.
One of the standout features of the UDA-49AP is its two-in-one switching capability, allowing users to toggle between active and passive modes with a single button. This makes it suitable for both receivers and transmitters, unlike the UDA-49A (active only) and UDA-49P (passive only). The gain settings are color-coded for easy identification: Red (+15dB), Green (+5dB), Blue (-5dB), and Amber (0dB bypass mode). This antenna is particularly recommended for use with diversity wireless systems, ensuring stable and reliable signal reception even in challenging RF environments.
