NovaStar VX600 Pro Display Controller
The NovaStar VX600 Pro Display Controller is the successor of the VX600 and provides an all-in-one solution for driving small to medium size LED screen installations. It can drive up to 3,900,000 pixels in total, at up to 10,240 pixels wide or up to 8,192 pixels in height, which is ideal for ultra-wide and ultra-high LED screen applications.
The VX600 Pro offers a variety of video inputs and it allows you to switch seamlessly between several input sources. Furthermore, it supports up to six layers, has powerful front-end processing with colour correction, eliminates the need for an external scaler, and has low latency and a Gen-Lock function. An internal media player allows you to play content from a USB device without the need for additional external hardware.
In addition to the 6 built-in outputs, two fibre-optic output ports are available to cover distances beyond the 100 metre Ethernet cable limit. When using the fibre optic outputs, an additional optical converter unit is required to drive your LED screens. This can either be one of the separately available Novastar CVT10-M or CVT10-S fibre converters, or a second VX600 Pro in fibre converter mode. A light sensor input is available for direct connection of a light sensor, allowing for automatic brightness control.
Screen configuration can be done via the front panel, NovaLCT, Unico web page and VICP app. The stylish 1U enclosure fits neatly into a 19-inch rack or case, making it ideal for rental companies and fixed installations.
